About the Role

The IFS ERP System Architect/Analyst serves as a subject matter expert and will be responsible for overseeing the functional use of the IFS Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This individual will provide functional guidance and expertise on the optimal use of the system.

The IFS ERP System Architect/Analyst will partner with all business units to utilize and recognize the full potential of the system.

The IFS ERP System Architect will apply analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues. In addition, this individual will also be responsible for identifying and implementing system improvements to optimize performance and uptime in a manner consistent with organizational goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g. FDA, ICH).

• Lead and drive the refinement and implementation of business process improvement projects within the IFS environment.
• Recognizes and pursues areas of improvement within the application by defining, analyzing and optimizing workflows and business processes.
• Looks for areas to optimize, automate process enhancements to drive business efficiencies.
• Engages internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) during planning and execution.
• Manages requirements gathering, outsourced development, testing, and deployment of system enhancement projects.
• Creates and maintains company testing and training plans for system enhancements.
• Develops and maintains a knowledge base of best practices for end users.
• Authors and maintains the User Manual for staff.
• Responds promptly to end user and management needs and meets all SLAs.
• Talks staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues .
• Analyzes software application issues and determines effective course of action to improve operational functionality.
• Participates in after-hours support during evenings and weekends as needed.
• Leads the evaluation, testing, and implementation of new modules and upgraded software.
• Interfaces with the software vendors for any application bug resolution or application maintenance issues.
• Participates in disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Carries out any other duties that are reasonably requested.
• Operates to the highest ethical and moral standards.
• Complies with company policies and procedures.
• Communicates effectively with clients, supervisors, colleagues and staff.
• Participates effectively as a team player in all aspects of company's business.
• Adheres to quality standards set by regulations and company policies, procedures, and mission.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least five (5) years’ experience in a similar role.

  • At least four (4) year of experience using the ERP system from IFS.

  • Proven ability to provide strong initiatives, establish personal goals, and take responsibility for meeting them within defined timelines.

  • Proven ability to function in a dynamic environment subject to spontaneous changes in schedules and priorities.

  • Expert communication skills in a dynamic and changing environment.

  • Experience in customer service.

  • Knowledge of the IFS implementation methodology.

  • Working knowledge of GCP, cGMP and/or ICH guidelines.

  • Expert knowledge manufacturing concepts including MRP, product engineering, part lifecycle, order-to-cash, finance, sales, and quality assurance.
