Whenever I travel, I love seeing IFS customers out in the field. Sometimes I will see Southwest Airlines maintenance staff at the airport, Smart Care service vans on the highway, or a Power Secure truck being dispatched to an outage.
There’s a sense of pride knowing that in some way we helped these products and services reach their customers, provide better services, and keep the lights on.
Did you know that IFS customer products were also recently on the Artemis II NASA mission?
That’s right – ACR electronics and Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBAD) made products were recently part of the mission.
ACR’s Electronics’ Personal Locator Beacon (PLB) was attached to each astronaut as they re-entered the earth’s atmosphere and landed in the Pacific. You can read more about this here >>HERE
Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company Flight Termination System was involved in the separation of the crew module from the service module for reentry of Orion into the earth’s atmosphere. Read more about it here…
